Background

Rod Michelmore is a litigation attorney and partner at Marshall Diel and Myers. Rod is a litigation lawyer with a broad-based expertise in litigation both in England and Bermuda.

Rod acts for a variety of local and international clients, and he has an established track record of providing advice and conducting litigation in a wide range of general litigation disputes including matters involving commercial law, employment law, matrimonial law, personal injury / medical negligence claims, landlord & tenant, and immigration and naturalization.

Prior to joining Marshall Diel & Myers in 2002, Rod was a senior crown prosecutor in England where he practiced for over 8 years. During that time Rod gained a wide range of experience in conducting trials in complex and high profile matters.

Rod attended Kings College at the University of London where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Second Class Honours Upper Division). He attended the College of Law in Guildford and was admitted to the Law Society of England and Wales in December 1993. Rod was called to the bar in Bermuda in August 2003.
